1) How does your backdrops differ from Muslins and Canvas?
The material we use for our backdrops is called Polyester Fabric which is 100%
Polyester, hence our backdrops are soft yet as strong as Muslin and Canvas. They are
also wrinkle free, washable, dryer safe and light weight than Muslins and Canvas.
2) Are your backdrops machine and dryer safe?
All our backdrops are machine washable and dryer safe. We recommend washing with
mild detergent on delicate cycle and drying them on medium or low heat cycle. There
are no limitations on the number of times you wash and dry them. There is 0%
shrinkage in our backdrops unlike Muslins where the shrinkage value is about 5% -
10%. Canvas is not washable.
3) What is the difference between Spray and Tie N Dye Backdrops?
Our Spray backdrops are made using the Spray technique(Air-Brushed), where fabric
colors are diluted and then sprayed on the backdrops. Our Spray backdrops are
already diffused.
Tie N Dye are made using the old Tie N Dye technique, where backdrops are tied &
dyed in colors to create the design. These backdrops have soft texture and wrinkle
free.
4) What do you mean by diffused?
Diffusing is a process where the effect is to soften the character of light. Using spray
technique our backdrops become light absorbent which creates a diffused backdrop.
Hence diffusing is not required.
5) How do you hang your backdrops?
All our backdrops are hanged using clamps. We also provide a rod pocket upon
request.
